Tournament Feeds

Once you schedule a tournament on PLAYINGA, as an organizer you can use your Tournament Feeds page to keep participant players or teams informed and fans of your tournament engaged through text or media clips. Tournament feeds that you create through your tournament page will appear across the timelines of all the stakeholders involved including the fans of your tournament.

The following are the steps to create a tournament feed:

Click on the Tournaments sub-tab in the middle of your profile page. A list of tournaments you have created appears. Click on the tournament of interest to go to its respective Tournament page.

OR

Hover your pointer over the Tournaments tab that appears in the top of your profile page and from the drop-down that appears, click on the tournament of interest to go to the specific Tournament page.

Once you are on the tournament page, as a default selection the Feeds sub-tab in the tournament page remains selected. If otherwise select the Feeds sub-tab and follow the steps below.

To post a message:

Step 1: Make sure the Message tab above the tournament’s timeline is selected.

Step 2: Type your message in the box that says Start a conversation.

Step 3: Click the Post button to post the message.

To post an image:

Step 1: Select the Photo tab above the timeline to post an image.

Step 2: Tap at the arrow next to Select Image.

Step 3: Choose a photo from your computer by clicking on the filename. Click Open to attach the image to your post.
Note: File size to be included, file types supported and how many images simultaneously can be posted.

Step 4: You can optionally include a caption in the box below that says Start a conversation.

Step 5: Tap the Post button to post your image.

To post a video:

Step 1: Tap the Video tab above the timeline to post a video.

Step 2: Enter or paste from Youtube the URL of the video you would like to post in the box that says Youtube URL.

Step 3: You can optionally include a caption in the box below that says Start a conversation.

Step 4: Tap the Post button to post your video.

Deleting a tournament feed:

You can delete a team feed any time after you create it. To delete a photo or video you posted on your team’s wall, you must delete the post that contains it.

Below are the steps to delete a feed you created.

Step 1: Locate the post that you want to delete from your tournament’s timeline.

Step 2: In the top right corner of the post, tap the cross mark that appears.

Step 3: A message will appear seeking your confirmation. To reply in the affirmative, tap Yes, delete it
Your post will get deleted successfully.
